Assassin's Creed Reveals Bizarre AoT Event for Holiday Season
In a surprising partnership that defies usual forecasts, Ubisoft has announced an in-game crossover between Assassin's Creed Shadows and the acclaimed anime series Attack on Titan. The surprising holiday event operates from November 25 through December 22, providing no-cost extra story content for Shadows players.
Peculiar Mission Revealed
According to the official statement, "A strange confrontation draws characters Naoe and Yasuke into a original quest, where hints of prohibited practices and fearsome transformations resonate through the obscurity." The plot introduces a "strangely dressed woman named Ada" who assigns the pair with venturing into the Crystal Cave—a significant location from Attack on Titan—to save her friend from a clandestine sect.
The mission focuses on "strange tests and a terrifying adversary" and is open to all players who have gained access to the Yasuke character.
Familiar Settings and Changes
The teaser showcases the Hidden Temple from Attack on Titan redesigned as the Crystal Cave. This important location was formerly where the Reiss royal family passed down the Founding Titan ability through generations. The preview ends with a powerful scene showing a character, presumably the prisoner, transforming into a Titan that rises over Naoe and Yasuke.
Exclusive Prizes and Extra Features
Players who accomplish the adventure will receive an special katana alongside multiple items secreted throughout the area in hidden chests. The update also includes premium Attack on Titan item packs, featuring:

Newest Free Story Update
This update also brings the game's latest no-cost story content, titled "A Puzzlement."
